A few years ago, I used to think building wealth meant earning more.

Every time I got a raise or earned extra income, I assumed I was getting ahead financially.

But when I looked back, I realized something surprising…

My lifestyle had grown just as fast as my income.

The real turning point wasn’t making more money—it was becoming intentional with how I spent, saved, and invested it.

Today, I still have financial goals I’m working toward, but one lesson has stayed with me:

Wealth isn’t built by a few big decisions. It’s built by hundreds of small ones made consistently.

What’s one financial lesson that completely changed the way you think about money?

One thing I’ve realized is that every dollar has a job. If I don’t decide where it goes, it’ll disappear on things I won’t even remember a month later.
