Reply To: Will AI create more opportunities than problems financially?
I think AI will create more financial opportunities than problems—but only for people who adapt early.
I’m already seeing companies use tools like ChatGPT, Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot to automate repetitive tasks, not eliminate every role. The employees and freelancers who know how to work with AI are becoming more valuable because they can produce better results in less time.
That said, I do think some jobs that rely heavily on routine work will face real pressure over the next five years. The biggest financial risk isn’t AI itself—it’s waiting too long to learn how to use it.
My approach has been to treat AI like learning Excel or the internet years ago. It’s another productivity tool that complements human judgment, communication, and domain expertise rather than replacing them.
If I had one piece of advice, it would be this: invest a few hours each week learning AI tools that apply to your profession. Even a 20–30% productivity boost can make you more competitive, create new income opportunities, and provide more job security as AI adoption continues to grow.
For anyone getting started, I’d recommend exploring ChatGPT, Claude, or Google Gemini and using them daily for tasks you already do instead of trying to reinvent your workflow overnight.
